Stupid NBME exams...
Why am I writing an American board exam, you ask? Because the dinosaurs that run U of M are too lazy to make up their own exams. So, we're one of 4 Canadian medical schools (out of around 20 total) writing these. That's going to look really useful when I apply for residency... an exam that nobody else cares about. Yet, if I fail, I have to write it over again and possibly repeat my rotation.
This hoop-jumping is reminding me a lot of UBC undergrad.
